Vision of the project
The main vision of the project was to create a modern, forward-looking wine exhibition, where visitors would learn everything about the birth and production of wine, local traditions and regional crafts in an interesting and interactive way. The museum’s exhibition would focus on the region’s traditions and its folklore, crafts and history.

The intention of the project
The creation of a wine, cultural and social centre in the premises of the dilapidated neo-Gothic Bzenec Castle would attract tourists to the town of Bzenec and the Slovácko region and at the same time it would also diversify the social and cultural life of its citizens. The focus on the commodity of wine is linked to the winemaking and viticultural history of the town of Bzenec and the Bzenec Castle itself.
