Furniture for the chapel in the Social Services Centre in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí

New furniture in the Blessed Virgin Mary Church from 1876 in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí in the Social Centre

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, a Holy Mass was celebrated in the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary conceived without stain of sin in the building of the Social Services Centre in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí.
The Mass was celebrated by the Bishop of the Ostrava-Opava Diocese Mons. Martin David and in the presence of distinguished guests and the general public the new altar was consecrated. The original tabernacle was returned to the chapel.
The author of the new furnishings in the chapel is Tomáš Skalík from Tomáš Skalík Atelier .

The furnishings consist of a sacrificial table, an ambo, a seat, an abacus and a pedestal for the tabernacle.
The altar slab and the ambo slab are made of the original altar stone.
For the abacus and the pedestal for the tabernacle, new Carrara marble imported from Italy was used.
The shell of the element is a combination of steel and bronze sheet.
